We are partnering with an insurance coop in the Buena Park area. They are looking to hire Risk Services Coordinator to join their team. This positions will be temp for 3-6 months with the potential of temp to hire if the budget is approved. The pay is $22-$29 based on experience.
Job Purpose: Under the direction of the Director of Risk Services, performs a wide variety of administrative and general support for the risk services department. Primary responsibilities include preparing meeting and presentation materials, performing data entry, answering telephones, filing, and scheduling meetings for staff or with members. This position will support a variety of staff. May be assigned specific duties of a repetitive nature.
Essential Duties:
General l Administrative Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of administrative duties including typing, filing, answering phones, operating office equipment, and distributing mail for staff
- Types, edits, formats, proofreads and prepares a variety of written materials, including publications, correspondence, charts, graphs, and other documents
- Answers telephones and greets office visitors; takes and relays messages; answers routine questions and coordinates conference calls or meetings
- Assists in administration of various programs as assigned
- Assists with scheduling meetings, conferences or services as directed
- Provides prompt and courteous responses to member requests via phone, email or other direct communication
Risk Services Program-Related Responsibilities
- Generates certificates of insurance on behalf of members
- Processes Service Request Forms for member-related projects and ensures invoices are processed in a timely manner in salesforce
- Work with vendors to ensure projects completed timely
- Provides customer support with insurance contract reviews
- Maintains Director's calendar and the risk management calendar
- Assist to create reports to management as assigned
- Participate in risk control staff development activities
